After raising her now-grown children, she pursued further studies in mental health – continuing her lifelong commitment to holding space for others. Her career has taken her across Australia and into the heart of Indonesia, where she travelled and worked extensively, gaining rare insight into the shared threads of human resilience, grief, and grace.

Now settled in Tasmania, she brings her extraordinary lived experience to every editing project she touches. An avid reader of true crime, memoir, and heartfelt fiction, she has a keen eye for narrative pacing, emotional resonance, and character authenticity. Her background working with women navigating substance abuse, domestic violence, and the complex systems surrounding out-of-home care lends her an acute awareness of language’s capacity to heal – or harm.
